We will have boards available to display posters. Attendees may use these for technical (not commercial) posters presenting new or interesting work in progress.<\/p>\n

Speakers with short presentations are particularly encouraged to bring posters to act as a focus for discussion, as the time available for questions in the main session will be very limited.<\/p>\n

There will be a Lightning Talks session where you can request a 5-minute slot to introduce your poster if you do not already have an accepted talk that relates to it.<\/p>\n

The display boards are just less than A0 size, though with a little care it should be possible to attach an A0 poster. It may be easier to bring A2 or A3 sized posters. Make sure that any text you use is large enough to be easily read from a couple of metres away, and put a clear title at the top in a much larger font.<\/p>\n

If you are travelling a long way it may be best to have the poster printed by a UK service and sent directly to Edinburgh. One such service is Instantprint: https:\/\/www.instantprint.co.uk\/posters\/a1<\/a> – you can send them PDF, JPEG, and a few other file formats.<\/p>\n

Sponsors<\/a> will have the option to display commercial posters.<\/p>\n
