Previously, Ludovic was working for Sun Microsystems as the Architect for the Sun Directory Services products and Community Manager for the OpenDS project. Ludovic Poitou has been speaking at various conferences and blogs regularly on the subject of Identity Management, LDAP Directory Services, Java and open source software.

The world of IT is changing. A few years ago, directory servers were deployed on machines and left running for years without intervention (if ain’t broken, don’t touch it). Now customers want to deploy all their applications and middleware in a cloud, where containers would have a lifespan of days if not hours.
What does it mean for directory servers? In this presentation, I will cover how ForgeRock is building its Directory Services product to be running in the cloud, in any cloud.
