If travelling by air, take either the tram to St Andrew Square or the Airlink 100 bus to Waverley Station. Both will put you very close to the station. The Informatics Forum is about 20 minutes walk south from here, and many hotels are close to the route. Remember to buy a ticket from the machine before boarding the tram.

There is a wide range of accommodation in Edinburgh, ranging from basic hostels to 5-star hotels. This is a relatively quiet time of year so you should not have difficulty in finding something suitable. Public transport in Edinburgh is very good, but you may prefer to stay within walking distance of the venue (and the dinner venue which is closer to the main railway station in the city). The Pub
On the evenings of 10th and 11th November we will meet at The Doctors which is a large pub near the Informatics Forum. It serves food from 14:00 to 22:00. The address is 32 Forrest Road, Edinburgh, EH1 2QN

The Conference Dinner on Thursday evening will be at The Caves, 8-12 Niddry Street South, EH1 1NS
